Only thing smokin' this weekend is my tires driving to Boonville, MO and back for a wedding.

They have a prison and a casino. One stop shopping.

Nothing. I have a job interview today. Hope it goes well. If it does go well then I will celebrate by cooking. If not well then i will eat cheap mcdonald's food.

Wife picked up two poblano and three jalapeņo peppers at the store.
I shall figure out sometime do with them combined with leftovers in freezer.

I'm going to do an early Father's Day cookout for my dad since me and the family will be in Alaska for Father's Day this year on a cruise.

I'm thinking some surf and turf with prime rib roast and lobster tails.

Happy Phriday, Pholks! I'll probably just pull some baby backs out of the freezer for tomorrow, but even that depends on what SWMBO has planned.

Happy Phriday Phu and pharkers! I have no pharking idea...the boy is leaving about noon to go to the outer banks with a friend so I'll ask the Minister of War and Finance if she wants anything.

I have been dry curing two slabs of bacon...

Sunday I will smoke them and maybe by Tuesday slice/try/freeze ;)

Going on my maiden voyage with my pint this weekend. Going to smoke a couple butts, a couple corned beefs, a couple fatties, and some racks of ribs. Gonna be fun.

Laying a couple of pallets of sod tomorrow. I think I will throw something on the smoker (ribs for the boys and some chicken for the better half) to feed my helpers.

Imma gonna try to make Smoked Rangoon Poblanos. Smoked Poblano stuffed with crab, cream cheese, garlic and green onion. We shall see...

Well, I will, hopefully, be seasoning a new LSG Santa Maria grill I plan to pick up tomorrow.

I'm not sure what the first cook on it will be, maybe some tablitas or a tri tip. I guess I will see what i can find once I get the grill home. :biggrin1:

just spent 2.5 hours in my non-air conditioned car stuck in traffic... it's freakin' triple digits outside... I am NOT going back outside to stand over a fire, even for a steak... maybe I'll be in a better mood tomorrow and have the desire to use the grill... tonight, microwaving leftover brisket and drinking lots of cool water....

Have a couple relatives coming late tonight so tomorrow is a 16lb brisket (before trimming) Salt Pepper and Garlic and 4 racks of BB Ribs with a modified Magic Dust. One of those racks is so thick it looks like a pork loin on top of the bones. That is the second time in recent memory the wife brought home a rack that thick.....The first one was awesome. Pics tomorrow.

Just waking up now to get some STL ribs on (by 5 am, hopefully). Smoking real low at 225 for a pool party at noon so I will pull them at 10.
