Picked up some beef back ribs on sale, never cooked before, suggestions?

I just did mine like a brisket... slather (or not) with your favorite binder and do S&P or your go to rub. It takes about 6-8 hours, depending on how hot you cook. At 250-275F my five pound ribs took 7 hours.

This. Rub as you wish and put them on. When a toothpick slides in and out easily in the thickest part, they are done.
EDIT Just realized they were back ribs. I was thinking short ribs. They will be done sooner than what he said. 3-4 hours, at most.

Ooh... good catch. Hopefully they are not the beef riblets that you get from Walmart. Those will be done in 3 due to the lack of meat and fat.

Beef back ribs are incredibly tasty and fun to eat IMO.
