I hope you enjoy the race. Over the years I have had to work that day at Alliance airport due to if an air traffic problem arose, the traffic would be too great to allow me to drive out there in a timely manner. Glad it is someone else this year.

Had season tickets up till a few years ago. We would get to the track about 0400 and party till the race and then until they kicked us out of the parking lot afterward... We still attend the truck races there, but usually have something else going on the weekend of the Cup races at TMS these days... This weekend, cooking for our company get together.

Should be fun cooking Friday night! I've cooked in the rain before, but... I hope the terrible T-storms they are predicting pass us by!

Have fun out there with the masses!

James.

Might be kinda hairy for those getting there today and camping. I have never heard a weather forecast say "there WILL" be tornados in North Texas  like I just did.

I think a lot of them got here yesterday. Some MOA-RON from Arkansas driving his RV nearly bought me a new truck. The stickers all over the rolling tanament on wheels gave him away as a NASCAR fan.

Good luck to you folks that will be out. The forecast I heard a little while ago is ugly. 60-80 mph winds, baseball size hale, tornadoes.... Of course it will probably just sprinkle, now that they've scared the hell out of everybody.

Glad to hear it. The warmer air to the south and the cool air we have right now coulg make things interesting later this evening.

Hope you and JamesB both have a good weekend, and are safe!

Hope they're safe. They're evacuating TMS due to bad weather and tornado watches and warnings. Sirens went off a little while ago and getting some hail.

Here's what I got a couple miles south of the speedway.

Rotation headed towards Jorge's part of town now.

All's well in Benbrook.

We had a tornado supposedly touch down just around the corner from my house. Large open area so I doubt there is much damage.

Lost power for an hour or so.

Hope everyone else is ok!
