Prime NY Strip steaks seasoned with Naturiffic Q-Salt and cooked on the Blackstone Patio oven at 700F in a hail storm.

Roasted Brussel Sprout salad (seasoned with Naturiffic Peppery Lime) and roasted cauliflower also made the plate.

Sir, did you cook the steaks in a cast iron pan in the blackstone oven? Can you please let me know your procedure of cooking the steaks in the blackstone? Thanks.

I've been digging that Q-salt! Did some rotissirie ribs with it last weekend.

Nice cook there, and it's good to see you cooking and posting. :thumb:

So that brussels sprout dish - do tell! :hungry:

Yes, I have a cast iron skillet that has a broken handle (from when I dropped it back in the day)

It works perfect in the Blackstone oven.
I cook steaks at ~700F for 2 minutes first side, then 3 min on the other side, then rest for 15.
I preheat the pan in the oven before I toss the steaks in it dry (no oil)

Its ridiculously simple and easy.
Cut the Brussels in half, season (I used Peppery Lime this time), toss with olive oil and roast at 400F for 20 min.
Prepare salad of baby spinach and mixed greens, with feta cheese and dried cranberries.
Add roasted sprouts and toss.
Top with Parmesan cheese and a 25 year old aged balsamic vinegar. (Aged 25 years is optional, but highly recommended. :) )

Hail to the chef [sic], he's the one we all say "Hail!" to...

Delicious meal in rather undesirable conditions.
