You sure know how to cook chile rellenos right, Jeanie! We need to give them a shot for sure. What's your sauce recipe, if you don't mind sharing?

Beautiful work Jeanie, I am usually too lazy to batter and fry. Your plated pics are truly worthy of a page or two in your upcoming cook book... I take the easy way and smoke them once stuffed until the Poblanos are tender and the cheese is melted and browned.

Thank you Moose!
I saute garlic and onion in a bit of oil til tender. Add 2 cups of chicken stock, 8 oz of tomato sauce, Mexican oregano, salt and pepper to taste. It's simple but adds so much to the rellenos. Good luck with it! :-D

Love that, Jeanie! I just started making chile rellenos a couple years back and love 'em! I've done 'em with cheese, brisket, etc. but your filling here looks like it's gotta be the next batch!

I'll say it yet again - I am amazed at how you put up so many awesome threads that are consistently so nicely done - the cooking and the pix.
