I had bookmarked Shadow's recipe for TanTanMen and recently gave it a try.

Gathered ingredients...

I had both rice and fresh noodles...

browned the pork with sake...

made the tahini, chicken stock broth..

I made a bowl with the rice noodles the first night...

Then used the fresh noodles the next night...

This stuff was amazing! Thanks so much for posting your recipe Shadow! I'll be making this often. :-D

Shadow's link has the recipe and pics on how to make it. This is definitely a keeper.

That's one I am going to have to try Jeanie, even though it won't compare to yours or Marc's.

I'm honored that you would try one of my recipes, but not surprised that yours turned out so well.

Thanks for sharing your recipe Shadow! I had not heard of the dish, but I love noodles.... I wanted to give this a go. It was SO tasty, I'm going to make it often. :-D

Looks fantastic - I'm gonna have to try whipping some of that up before my family kills me for making the same stuff over and over. :redface:

I got a bunch of pork stock from cooking piggies so I may give that a shot...

Thanks SD for brining something new (at least to me!) into the fold and thanks Jeanie for putting this up - I missed it the first time around.
