View Full Version : Churrasco inspired Pork Chops and Crispy Chinese Roast Pork in my kettles

I got a set of 24" Sadaf skewers and wanted to try it out - churrasco style. The market had some thick pork chops, so onto the skewer they went. Fired up some lump in my 18" Weber and on they went. The chops came out great!

While this was going on, I also had been roasting some Chinese Crispy Skin Pork Roast on my 22" Weber with the Slow n Sear. The skin came out nice and crispy and the meat was dead-on like the crispy pork I get from the Chinese market. This took me about 1.5 hours with the bottom and top vents wide open and the SnS running nice and HOT. Had a little extra room, so I also made a few thighs rubbed with Plowboys Yardbird - can never go wrong with that.

Great cook. That crispy skin looks like a full on pork rind that I could buy in the snack section. Nice! :clap2:
