Nice. I have the old roto damper fan type on mine. Never really cared for the fan setup. If I ever need a fan I'll probably get the new inline fan one. The damper does work pretty good on its own though.

thanks. I see guys who use the inline fan one and get it 1 degrees but I was never able to get it tuned that well.

I use two 1" micro dampers and they work pretty well. with both wide open the pit will hit 380+ degrees so it will stoke any fire.

best thing is the damper is only like $12 to print and the servo is approx $1.
been going strong for almost 12 hours now

Yes! The value for dollar is strong with this one.

I have $160 in this setup and I'm at work right now watching my temps and able to change settings over wifi

$72 heatermeter
$15 power adapter
$28 for two dampers
$10 for Ethernet cable and adapters
$35 raspberry pi 3.

Can't beat it.

ps. sorry lol. I forgot the probes. $22

Don't forget that you can set them to use Maverick probes.

thats correct.

a bunch of people already have those so no need to buy again -money saving.

edit:also works with thermoworks probes, which are what I use
