Common propane tank smoker sizes?

What are the common propane tank sizes and grate dimension (approximations here due to builder or shop differences)?

I keep seeing references to 120 Gallon (24" diameter?) and 130 Gallon (30" diameter?) smokers and Meadow Creek used to make a 60 Gallon model. What's a 250 or 500 look like?

What's the trade-off between something like a 120G vs. 130G? Is one better for a whole hog (granted it would be a smaller one) for example? How would a 250G fuel burn compare to say a 130G (assume both are 30" with the length being the main difference)?

500 are Monsters, 250 is Pretty Big, 120-150 gallon is a Good Size for Most Guys........

It depends on the length. My 250 gal. is 30" dia. It will be shorter than the 24" you mentioned. Not sure there is a "standard".

Yes, a 500G is way too big for a solo person cook but I do have two WSM with a third on the way (or in the works more appropriately)! The 250G has me curious, though a 120G or 130G is most likely the best option for me personally and the friends I have.

1000 Gallon.
Belonged to a long time friend that passed away this last July. Had a monster firebox, a 70 gallon water-tank/steam generator and could handle roughly 1000lbs of meat at any given time.
