Forgive my ignorance but after using the brine do you still season the bird like you normally would? I have never dry brined before.

You can add season to your preference but the harvest brine doesn't need any additional

I would not add any more salt.

I added more salt on my bird, but maybe that's just me.Good flavor overall though without the additional salt.

The Harvest Brine contains maple, apple, and sage which round out the flavor very nicely. For poultry it was just perfect, because it has a delicate light flavor.

I also used it on a pork loin and I used just a light dusting of pepper on the outside.
