Damn that wouldn't be to far for me! But busy all day tomorrow plus don't have the freezer space at the moment. Do they do this every year?

Am I the only one that cannot read that price list? Glasses on, glasses off, squinting, holding my phone at arm's length - doesn't make a difference. Still can't read it.

I cannot read it either but Beardstown is just a hop and a skip away from me. I got my fill out pork shoulders a couple days ago at The Butcher Block in Quincy and I think it was $1.49 a pound so I got 4!

Damn, I wanted to smoke Butts this weekend for friends and co-workers for Christmas gifts. Cheapest Butts I could find were $1.69. Baby backs for $2.75 it is!

Thanks for the heads-up. I arrived at 9:30 and got in line. Was about 25 deep and more people were showing up every minute. When I was about 15th from the head of the line, they announced that they were out of boneless loins, hams and bellies. Sadness. Watched a guy load a pick-up over the side rails. Ended up buying two cases of baby backs and a case of boneless sirloin chops. Definitely worth the effort. Gonna' have to arrive earlier next time.
