Haven't made one in a long time, decided why not and Sirloin Tip roast happened to be on sale for $3.29/lb. Mmmm... Cheap ass beef roast with 407BBQ (http://407bbq.com/) rub, smoked with pecan on the Big Joe, mashed taters & veg. Good stuff Maynard!

I can't remember the last time I did a sirloin roast. Maybe years, but sweet donkey love that looks insane! Did you just run the Joe hot and cook till rare/med-rare?

I picked up a couple of arm roasts for $1.99/lb last Friday. No plan to cook them right away, so they went directly to the freezer, but they had some decent marbling, so I figured I'll do pepper stout beef or plain shredded beef sometime. Not sure how they'll work for that, but at that price, its worth a shot.

Yep, same here. Was at the store today and saw it on sale, couldn't remember the last time I cooked one. Ran it at 250-260 until it hit 115, then closed up the vents and started the taters & gravy and let it come up to 130. Sometimes a cheap roast is all you need. Mmmm...
