Robyn, my 2 year old daughter, is sick. I called off work to take care of her. Not alot to do and couldnt fire a smoker and leave her alone. My wife went to work early.
Anyways, I got bored and made cinnamon rolls from scratch in 40 mins. I have never been a fan of ovens. I am getting much more comfortable with an oven but prefer my smokers.

I was thinking about using these in comp if we find a contest with a dessert or chefs choice category. So what you think? First time i made them. I think the roll needs tightened up a bit. Not bad though.:thumb:

I think they look darn good. The lose wind holds more sausage gravy.

I am a big fan of cinnamon rolls and those look fine. As long as they meet the requirements for a contest, I say go for it.

I like the way they look, I don't like sweets but yours might tempt me!
Why not tell us how to do it?

Looks good. I hope your daughter is feeling better. My girls are teens now, but I remember those days when they were little and caught every germ within a 10 mile radius.

I can almost smell those from here, cinnamon rolls are one of my favorites.

Cinnamon rolls are the Sunday morning tradition at our house. It’s always been just Pilsbury canned ones, but I may have to try some home made ones ASAP.
