My way of saving money, time during the week, is bulk cooking. Portion and freeze. I even buy takeout containers, and freeze meals. Set them in the fridge. a couple at a time , and pop them in the oven for dinner. As far as what I cook, depends on what the store has on sale, or that looks good.

I always fill my grate, save the extras for when I don't have time to cook, or just feeling lazy.
Sausage always cooks quick, too.

I always keep frozen homemade burgers in the freezer. I can cook them on my George Forman grill frozen and cut potatoes with my French Fry doohickie and throw them in the Fry Daddy. I'm eating in less than 25 minutes. Not Q but it's fast.

Meatloaf on the smoker. Spatchcock chicken. Sausage. Burgers. Kabobs. My wife us uses leftovers to make amazing brisket sandwiches. Freezing in a vac sealer bag and reheating is good. I should do that this weekend. Ribs always taste good after freezing and reheating in a vac sealer bag. Now i am hungry. Later

I like country style ribs? Or chuck roast chunked up for burnt ends? Maybe pork burnt ends out of pork steaks? Wings? Many options for a two to three hour hot smoke? But that's just me.....you said smoked.

I agree with Hankdad - Pork chops are so fast -
pull them at 143 - I use H+F for them, only S+P
you will love them, but for Pete's sake, don't overcook them.
I use bone-in.

Well.......you could take my family's dinner tonight, for instance........wings, boneless breast, smoked jalapeņo sausage, mac'n'cheese, beans and leftover apple pie:

I can fire up my Akorn, grill the chops plus a rest rest in 35 minutes.
