Oklahoma don't offer $hit if your coming up 69. Muskogee is about the best stop or only. Once in your in Dallas it's 7 hours to Springfield. I would say stop and give me a yell but I will be in Waco tomorrow. Pinch Spice on the Arse for us all.

There are a couple of good Q joints in Tulsa, but might be a little out of the way depending on which way you're coming. I can get you addresses and directions if you're interested. Depending on when you come through, I'd be happy to meet you for lunch.

Man what a FARKING fat Ars I am  well made the trip back home ok kinda, I was about one mile into the return trip when the trailer started to fish tail all over the place in the rain  Randy was screaming like a little girl but I was able to get in under control without killing anybody. had to move the spice more centered over the axle, the rest of the ride was fine.

Jay thanks again for build such a high quality smoker, I'm truly glad to be the first one in texas with a spice and trust me I will not let the brethren down  what a first class operation anybody that is considering a spice I would suggest to ask a member that owns one and I'll bet you will not find one of them that has a negative thing to say, I tried to find one and was unable too only good thing to be said.

here are a few pics more to follow, FYI will be competing with the spice Saturday in a one day cook hope like FARKING heck I bring home some gas money:twisted:

It was great to met Jay and his great crew. Think Dustaway paid twice as much in gas verses the shipping bill, but seeing Jay, the crew, and the shop really was worth putting up with Dustaway for 24 driving hours.

We loaded up the pit, strapped it down, and was ready for the trip back to Texas.... I looked at Jay and said we forgot the damn pictures! :icon_shy So we made sure to take a few of his bad boy in Red.

Again, great to have gotten to met you Jay.

Oh, by the way... Dustaway took BOTH t-shirts! I'll just let you put me a replacement inside my pit that I will be ordering in a couple of months!

Thanks guy's, went a popped the Cherri saturday at a little bar room cook-off entered the rib category placed fourth in ribs :-D

man the spice just set a 225 like a dream, my only problem was that I didn't use enough wood chunks for flavor but I'll get them next time :-P

PS Jay your smoker cost me money in the calcutta entry I went high just because of the smoker quote: form the guy who bought me "with a smoker like that you have got to be good" now that is some pressure

thanks Jay

How many chunks and what kind did you use? How many do you think you will use next time if you haven't already cooked since you post?
