View Full Version : Pork Loin on the Shirley

Shelly wanted to try a stuffed pork loin on the new Shirley in preparation for the 2017 Texas BBQ Brethren Bash on 11-11-2017 at Belton Lake. So I have her fired up and now waiting for it to settle in at around 300-310.
She stuffed it a bunch of herbs, garlic and mozzarella cheese. At 5lbs hoping to be done in about 2.5 - 3 hours. More pics later on. :mrgreen:

Springram you are correct! It was amazing! So tender, moist and full of flavor. Great smoke penetration. We will do this again. The smokey Mac and Cheese was also great flavor but just a tad bit dry. We will fix it next time.

Probably not as big, somewhere around 3lbs. :mrgreen:

Now working on other items to cook. Most likely non-standard.
