The missus requested sausage for the first cook so a medley of sausages from the local meat market were obtained

Sorry, don't have finished or plated pics. But I did get a pic of reloading the beer koozie during the cook...

Yep, I am officially back in the USA, after a one week delay in Amsterdam due to Hurricane Harvey.

Living in Chappell Hill, TX with my beautiful wife and daughter. Getting used to living under the same roof again!

Welcome back to the States. I spent a year and a half across the causeway in neighboring Bahrain. We were barred from entering KSA except on official business only. I still remember my homecoming and being disoriented by seeing signs exclusively in English again. It was also strange getting adjusted to cold again. Well enjoy the Shiner Bock and heavenly grilled sausage! Cheers!!

Thanks for serving JB,

I'm just a taxpayer now. I guess I help keep the national war chest full. Be safe and enjoy your time Stateside .

MisplacedTX, I hope you're happy and buzzing nicely from the sausage and beer combo. What's next on the bbq docket?
