Does anyone know of a company that makes outdoor brick pits, preferably one that is similar to a patio model (possible use for tailgating) although that's not necessary. I'm looking for something that is a stick burner and has a grate that is about 3 feet above the logs.

This sounds like a good DIY project, lost of guides to be had out there. Thing is outdoor Asado/grill kitchens are popular and you will probably get hosed if you get one built for you. The metal work could be done cheaper leaving you to play with design bricks and mortar.
