I stopped by my local meat and fish market today to see what they had for a Sunday Funday cook.I noticed some cryovacs of Beef Plate ribs in the locker.I told them to give me one of the cryovac packs,as is,uncut.I thought they had bought them to cut down into short ribs. The lady speaks in a HEAVY Russian accent. We special ordered these last week for a customer that did not come pick them up.I will sell them to you for $2.99 per pound. If there is anything wrong with them when you open them, just bring them back for a refund.I said,ma'am, how many packs do you have? She said 3 cryovacs with 4 plates in each pack.I left with 51 pounds of Beef Dino Ribs.I bought em all. Will post pics tomorrow if PB will work for me.

Heck of a score. Take a plate or two and ask if they will cross cut them for some Kalbi !

Wow! what an amazing score, the best I ever paid was $5.99 a pound. You are going to eating good for awhile. I love left over beef rib meat for so many things.

If a butcher or any other purveyor of food ever told me, "If there is anything wrong with them when you open them, just bring them back for a refund," I wouldn't even take them for free. How were they?

$6.99/lb up here, right now. If I buy the whole cryo from the locker, they might knock a buck a pound off. And you have to ask for it. Good score.

$3.99 /lb is the sale price here for bone-in. But today I scored boneless for $4.
