Thanks for this! "How to Grill" was my first book I ever bought about grilling and BBQ and got the Kindle version for $1.99 now! Some pretty good recipes in there.

I can't remember the circumstances, but I somehow downloaded a copy of "The Barbeque Bible".
Much of what I have learned about cooking over a live flame has resulted from picking up meat from Kroger's marked down meat, purchased in the wee hours, on my way home from work.
Between that book, and The Joy of Cooking, I was able to cook what I bought.
My curiosity about what was still missing led me to Google, which led me to this site.

Agree! Tons of respect for Raichlen. My wife got me his how to grill and it took me up a notch. I almost bought a Horizon which he features in his PBS specials

The thing that got me started down the path to edible food was running across a copy of his "How to Grill" at an Academy Sports store. Come to think of it, I did buy a Horizon offset smoker, which I, along with many of my buddies, really enjoy.
