Since Nellie has to go play manager at the theater today I decided to bring her crew a snack. Since she normally works all holidays I try to make sure they eat well.
Seasoned up some wings with Everglades (what else lately) and threw them in the 18”.

Let them roll for a while and went for an apple butter glaze

Off into a couple of pans for a little rest and ready for delivery

Those look off the reservation, Marty!

I'm sure that momma and the crew will greatly appreciate (and quickly devour) them.

I think she volunteers to work to get those wings. I would. Makes the day, any day, much better. Great looking wings, again!

Do you just spread apple butter right on wings? I never thought of that and sounds amazing

Yes, Nellie bought the expensive thick one, I prefer the cheap one which is thinner.

Fantastic looking wings, Marty! I think you should be appointed as the "Official BBQ Brethren Wingmaster" with all of these great wing cooks you've been posting.

Apple butter glaze on wings...recipe please!

Awesome!

Used "everglades" seasoning with "Dickinson's Country Apple Butter" for the glaze. Usually I use the cheap apple butter as it is thinner but Nellie bought this one.

I wish my wings looked that killer coming off the grill! Looks like WSM with a foiled pan? About how long at what temp?

No pan when cooking, 250 degrees for 2:45. Pans were for delivery to the theater.

Thanks Marty definitely going to have to try the apple butter glaze! What I meant to say was "foiled empty water pan"
