Hey guys,

I was wondering your thoughts on painting your smoker. I have a new COS, and I have seen a few people paint their smokers when they are brand new, before ever firing them up... What are your thoughts?

Any input is greatly appreciated,
Steve

I'd wait- get a couple of cooks under your belt on it. You'll know when you need to paint and what part.

I'm thinking "fire box".

i'd use it till it starts rusting then lightly sand it, treat with rust preventative then paint it.
