Looks great, but I am confused. The printing on the cryo says "Greg Norman Premium Australian Beef," but the sales label says "Product of USA."

What gives?

Thanks! It's Australian. My butcher (Harmony Farms) gets or used to get the the Greg Norman line from Broadleaf (the distributer). He then attaches his tag and the scale by default displays Product of USA. He doesn't feel like changing the default since most of the meat he sells is from the USA.

Looks great and gives me an idea for a steak prepared the same. I didn't know Greg Norman was into beef as well, but he is quite a businessman, so it doesn't surprise me.

Thanks Neighbor! Lol, yes. Less time than noodles and incredibly delicious. Should hold me until tonight since I've invited to a bbq with plenty of adult beverages usually offered. :-D

Thanks Kevin and yes I can't deny.

Thanks Ron! He's quite the businessman alright. Prices were unreasonably raised on his line a while back so my butcher stopped carrying or ordering.

Looking good. Which rub did you prefer?

Thanks! In all honesty I love them both very much. Have been using Everglades (great stuff )like a mad man on just about everything and wanted to try it on steak. When it comes to steak though I prefer the Oakridge Carne Crosta and I'm a total S&P guy when it comes to beef. It's a heck of rub IMHO.

Key with Carne Crosta is to make sure your heat is high enough to release the oils in the coffee that's an ingredient in the rub. That makes a HUUUUUUUUGE difference with this rub and you'll be disappointed if the coffee doesn't burn and release the oils which in turn tastes like unbrewed coffee.

Coffee enhances the beeves.
I haven't tried avocado oil for steak but will now.

Great looking cook, Sako! I wish Harmony Farms was closer, I'd definitely hit it often if it were.

Now a Question.
That meat looks very rich, do you think it can ever get too rich?
I find I cant eat as much with that full fat content
