View Full Version : Over Under question?

Does anyone here with an OC Over and Under have any advice about setting the flap/damper thing in the back of the cooking chamber. On mine it will open pretty wide with a twist of the handle but wont stay anywhere but shut on it's own. I tried it last weekend with a small chunk of wood propping it open some but it didn't seem to change anything as far as heat control went. What is the purpose of this thing?
