View Full Version : OC Smokehouse. First Cook

For my first cook I wanted something greasy and forgiving. So of course a pork but. Rubbed with Sucklebusters brisket rub. This smokehouse seems to like the 250-275 range. Very easy to control temps if you're familiar with stick burners. I plan to throw some sausage links on later and make some sandwiches with some bbq sauce and pickles.

The damper on thing is really effective. The temp climbed to 300 so I closed the damper most of the way. The temp started going down immediately. Color me impressed.

Sorry I didn't update this thread. I got so exited about my pulled pork and sausage sandwich I started a new thread.
