I still want one of those...but I have some repairs to make to get our pool going in the next 2 weeks...and that won't be cheap.
Then, at the end of June, the wife's parents, sister, niece and nephew are flying in from Cali for the 4th...and that won't be cheap. :heh:

Then...I plan on sending my deposit down to Tuscaloosa for a Shirley rig that I can haul around and do some on-site cooks. :clap2:

You are correct sir! :heh:

At least with the waiting list, I will have time to conjure up the moolah. I am taking a leap of faith ordering this thing. I am responsible for a third or more of my parents finances...my sister took them for a ride while I was living on the other side of the state. :mad2:

I am staying a bit small, which is OK since I have limited space in the detachable garage. Considering a 24x50, traditional door, warmer with both dampers and a baffle block, shelf on front, remote grease drain...will likely get probe inserts...on a modified trailer with a removable tongue. A wood box would be nice but there will be limited space on the smaller trailer...I can transport wood in the firebox, in the warmer and in the truck bed.

I'd go with Cabinet Doors.

Trust me...I'd love to have them. Like I said...finances dictate how far I can take it. I decided that I could live without them for now. I'd like to think of this as my "starter Shirley"...and that I will eventually graduate to a full blown Shirley down the road.

Brats look real good Smitty. If you cooked one for me and all you had was mustard I would scarf it down, thank you and ask for another.

If I was cooking them I would have a jar of Bavarian sauerkraut warmed up to go on the brat with some spicy mustard of some kind. :heh:

I like it. It's just a basic little grill but it's Good for small cooks and things so I don't have to fire up the Kettle. I added expanded metal over the charcoal grate. We will be taking it camping Memorial Day.

Johnsonville a lil better.

Thanks. I think they're better than the Meijer brats too, but when they're on sale, you gotta save.
