Based loosely from this site.

I substituted the sugar with the equal amount of honey.
Added ingredients to taste.
The Star Anise was the most important Additive I believe.

I used Birdseye Chili's, nice lip buzz.

That looks like a great, simple sauce that could easily compete with some HP on the eggs/toast in the recipe photos.

I'm guessing those thighs were tasty!

Nah, we have 24 months in a year, that means twice as many holidays.

Jim. we used a Santa Rosa Plum. A USA tree stock I believe.

Wow that looks and sounds amazing , would any variety work? Have black and red plums around here. Not sure the actual variety though.

Don't think ov had sugar plums before so I have nothing to compair to but aren't all plums sweet for the most part ?
