View Full Version : Beef Short Ribs

Every year we get a half a beef from a local friend/farmer and my favorite thing to smoke are the beef short ribs. Our new half of beef will be getting here in a couple of weeks so I needed to smoke the last of the ribs.

I smothered them in EVOO then rubbed them down with Oakridge Carne Crosta Steakhouse Rub (This stuff is just plain amazing on beef). I smoked for about 3 and a half hours at 250 then put in a pan and put some ginger beer in the pan, covered with foil and let smoke for another couple of hours.

I only have pictures of them pre-smoke and once done. They were amazing!!! The leftovers will be pulled and put on nachos for the big game tomorrow.
