How thick is the steel on the 28 inch? Any warping or distortion issues?

Edit: Just to give y'all the background on my question, some of you might know I custom build griddles for tye 22.5 and 26.75 Weber kettles. They are all 1/4 inch carbon steel. I want to design & build one for my new WeberQ gasser and I'm thinking 3/16 inch will work fine.

Appears 3/16 to me but thats with a ruler not calipers. I checked for warpage with the ruler, no light came through so good there.

The bottom does have this.

3/16 and no warping or issues going on 5 years with my 36. 3/16 is plenty IMO.

Look at the black stones they have strong backs welded on the backside to keep them from warping..... I started making all of mine out of .375... no braces need and better heat .......distribution... nothing wrong with thinner but add the strongbacks is my opinion

my 28" Blackstone is 10 gauge which is .1345
