I just ordered a BBQ Guru PartyQ from FireCraft for $99. I also ordered the 3/4" ball valve adaptor from Guru so complete the package. Saved a few bucks for my experimentation.

I'll use this as I play on my drum smoker. I like watching the meat temps myself (by feel) but definitely understand why you would get a DigiQ, instead.
Anybody here seeing issues with the PartyQ?

I've had one for a couple of years and use on my WSM (with a Maverick ET-733) with no issues whatsoever.

Had one for 3 years for my Primo ceramic. Simply Mahvelous! Didn't like the old style battery cover but I think they have fixed that.
