Also just gave away about a half pound each of Oakridge Dominator, Secret Weapon and Kosmos Sweet Honey Pecan to a good friend because I wasn't using or going to use them again.

Problem? I'd say you have a HUGE problem... you appear to be running low on rub ;-)

I am have been slowly building up my collection. Slowly. A new bottle every few weeks so the wife can't tell that the collection is getting bigger.

I've seen guys buy cookers and try to hide them from the wife... which I think is CRAZY!! But rubs?? That's hilarious!!! :-)

I've had to move from a dedicated cabinet above and the to righ of my stove to a dedicated set of racks on my pantry door... Granted, this includes (almost) all the herbs and spices that I use. It's 6 or 7 racks that go the full height of the door. lol

LOL..... don't we all?

I also recently scaled down my selection because with my age and the kids all moving away (Germany, Hawaii, and Kentucky), I don't cook as much as I used to for them and their friends. I don't like to keep my rubs longer than 6 months.

Kevin, if you have a problem, then I don't know what to call my rub collection. It's taking over several of my kitchen cupboards and a shelf in my pantry.

That's only a dozen bottles, and you think you've got some kind of problem, I've about two dozen at the moment, I didn't realize how sick I was until reading his thread!

I can't afford that much meat to try all those rubs thanks for salt and pepper

Problem....Yeah, you obviously need more meat.

I don't use a lot of rubs. But when I do, I research them here first, keeps me from having buyers remorse...and a cabinet full of rubs.

I have easily a couple dozen bottles, and half are the 15+oz bottles. Only tried a couple that I don't actually like. I'm pretty sure mama is getting me the Oakridge ones I asked for for Christmas, so I don't know where I'm gonna keep them. Haha. I love it.

It's easier to get in too deep than one might think. it wasn't until my wife texted me a picture of the rub cabinet that I realized I went a little overboard.... LOL
