Well as many know a couple weeks ago I bought the big easy oilless turkey fryer
I did not get a chance to season and use until today.... I bought a few butterball turkeys recently for .99 a pound..... Last night I ijected the turkey rubbed down with oil and seasoned.... Fired the cooker up today seasoned it... And put the 16 pound bird on.... What impressed me was charbroil has a site with live online chat to answer any questions.. They answered them all... Very very nice folks.....

Here are a few pics..

Injected and seasoned...

This is the injection u used

Used a rub a customer brought me from Texas.... Very good

The bird sit in the fridge all night.... It takes 15 minutes to season the big easy... Here is a pic of the cookers bird... Did not get pics while in the cooker.... Took 2 hrs and 45 minutes for a 16 pound bird... Took off the cooker at 160 degrees

It was very crispy.... Moist .... Seriously delicious.. Sharon made some stuffing usually we put it in the turkey and cook this time we did not.... But will next time... The FDA... Does not recommend it... I think they are cousins to the EPA.... I Been stuffing turkeys for years and will continue to do it.... If it kills me... Put a bird on my tombstone...

This is a pic playted up.. Had mash taters..... Gravy from the drippings... Stuffing.... All was great.....

Wow.

Momma's making shrimp for dinner as we speak, but I'm about to crawl through this computer screen to get at that plate!

Never had anything cooked with a Big Easy. How would you compare the results with a turkey fried the traditional way?

Killer bird, Paul.

For me I thought it was just as good if not better... As far as a fried bird I like it right out of the fryer ... Once it sits.... I don't really care for it.... That will not be the case with the big easy bird.. Want be nothing but a skeleton in a few days.... I will brine the next bird and stuff it.... Can't wait to see the results.. I really like turkey a lot.... Thx for the look and kind words!!!!!!:)

Looks really good Paul. I've never tried a bird on a Big Easy but I've been using that Creole butter for many years. Great stuff in a turkey no matter how you cook it.

Damn that bird looks good. I'm going to try to find the Tony Chacheres injection. I hope they sell it up here.

Great deal Paul, and such a great looking bird/meal.

As you noticed the dripping pan is a little small, however a 1/3 size steam table pan (http://www.webstaurantstore.com/1-3-size-standard-weight-anti-jam-stainless-steel-steam-table-hotel-pan-4-deep/4070349.html) will slide into the same track as the current pan holder does.

and you can add a foil pan liner (http://www.webstaurantstore.com/1-3-size-foil-steam-table-pan-3-5-16-deep-20-pack/9995200.html) if you want, to the 1/3 size pan..
