My wife was talking pork butt. They had some at the store, looks like they opened a couple vacuum sealed and individually wrapped them. If still available, going to throw one on my Kamado in the morning. Going to run it at about 300+ and see how it goes.

Happy Phriday Pholks!

I'm trying to use up last year's venison in the freezer to make room for this year's. So it's a two pound venison meatloaf on the kettle tonight with yellow squash and zucchini planks. Stuck working for the third weekend in a row, so that'll probably be it.

Have a great weekend!

I cooked 16 racks of ribs and 29# or tri-tip earlier. I owe a friend some beef ribs, so hopefully he'll get them this weekend also:)

Happy Phriday!

I smoked a Stromboli over pecan wood. I know that its not real Q, but it was cooked in the Shirley vertical over wood. Turned out incredible.

This weekend's kinda up in the air without any solid plan.

I have a hankerin' for some spare ribs.
May throw a fatty in there, while I'm at it.

Possibly some wings or some other such appetizer to contribute for an NFL viewing shindig on Sunday.

You pholks have a great weekend and keep the thin blue rolling!

Gonna try a small butt tomorrow, cook it in the WSM in a pan for the first time, someone on here posted about pan smoking one and using the juice to mix in when pulled, sounded right to me
