My old one bit the dust last year and was splitting it by hand and I am just getting to dang old for that anymore so I bought me a Wen 6 ton log splitter . It worked out great for the $300 price tag and split everything I fed it and did over a 1/4 cord of cherry in no time . this weekend I plan on getting my hickory sized down too for use for this winter and it was a very relaxing time splitting it up and drinking a beer .:peace:

With the amount of wood you go thru you should be posting more cooks than 16Adams. :heh:

Man that's a great price. The HF manual splitter is $100. This seems like a bargain at $250-$300.

What the min/max lengths it will do?

20 1/2" in length is the max but never split anything under 16" for my use .

this thing is a beast and just split a 1/2 cord of oak for this winters use in just 45 minutes .
