Sav-A-Lot in the st louis area has a 3 day sale on pork butts for $1.19 per lb. starting today. they restock daily around 7:30 so the early bird gets the pig. I went today around 1:00 & they HAD 3. I say had because I bought them all. the smallest one was 16#.

You can find some deals there at times just watch the dates,bought about 40 Hillshire sausages for $1.49 per pack,works great for jambalaya ect

Thinking 16# of pork would be a whole skin-on picnic, not just a bone in skin off butt.

Today, Costco, I saw they are now $2.09/lb boneless skinless
butts 2 pack cryovac. Were $1.89 in the summer.

Around here (chicago) it's $1.19 for picnics not butts. Last year I caught them for .50/lb because the date was coming up.

I looked at the pkg. again. there were 2 butts in the cryo. stlsportster. there are sav a lots all over town. there's gotta' be one nearish to you. there's even one out in st clair, mo.
