I hope that you like it. I like your choice of ammo too, I have quite a few boxes of Hornady and a lot of their reloading equipment.

LOLOL

I have a tendency to set things down and not clean up and put them where they're supposed to be when I've got barbecue to eat!!

I have to ask. Is Maull's sauce a sweet sauce or spicy sauce?
My wife cannot tolerate anything spicy.

My wife cannot tolerate anything spicy.

I would say neither. It is tangy from vinegar. There is some sweet and tomato there, but it is in the background.

I would agree with Craig, from the bottles I received from him, here is how I describe it...

It labels itself as a St Louis BBQ Sauce, but it wasn't the thick, sticky - sweet St. Louis BBQ Sauce we are all familiar with forced on us by the corporate giants. While the sauce may have some sugar it is far from sweet. I would describe it as a well balanced, very tangy, savory, tomato based sauce, and very thin in nature. I enjoyed tasting the sauce on my finger so much that I could have eaten it with a spoon, or sipped it directly from the bottle.

This barbecue sauce has enough flavors to please all tastes, no large specks of spice, not hot, not sweet, no harsh flavors, just a well balanced savory sauce. I taste hints of citrus (lemon and orange) which complement the very mildly sweet touch of molasses and brown sugar which compliment the flavor of the meat.

Mike Mills - “The BBQ Legend” wrote in his book, "Peace, Love, BBQ" that Maull’s is the perfect base sauce to start with and add your own ingredients to make it your own "Secret Sauce".

If you haven't tried Maull's you really should consider putting this on your list of things to try, it awesome and well worth the cost. If you are looking for a sauce that is not overly sweet and mildly tangy, this is the sauce for you. It has found a place on my sauce shelf and will be a stocked item.
