Bride hit the links, I hit the walking trail. Stopped in at W-World to peruse their "meat ready to eat" selection aka yellow tag specials . Found some decent looking beef. Took all the best looking veggies from the fridge. Going to season the meat with a Sucklebusters blend, roast the veggies about half done and throw everything in the crockpot. With about a half cup of chopped green chile

I use my pressure cooker all the time with leftover bbq and other general meals. All it's doing is braising which last I checked is a cooking method used widely across the culinary world. :-D

A crockpot may be my favorite cooking tool after my grill. Love soups and stews in the winter, so convenient to have a warm meal available all day. Plus I can sous vide with it now too!

Meals like you made here are some of the best meals you can make!! Fantastic! Is that horseradish or the right of the plate or mashed potatoes?

If your bride went back for seconds two times, wouldn't that be eighths?

I don't want to speak for Quamdar, but I use a temperature controller with a temp sensor in the crockpot.....I mean slow cooker. I then plug the slow cooker into it and just let the temp controller cycle power to the slow cooker. It works pretty well on my old slow cooker, but probably wouldn't work as well with the fancy digital ones as I'm sure some of them would turn off when you turn off power to them.
