Had a craving for German potato salad, but didn't want to cook indoors so, used the veggie basket and filled it with Yukon's, green beans from our garden, and onion.

Since the tater salad requires bacon, I thought I would drape it over the basket to let the fat drip on the potatoes as it cooked.

I had seasoned the potatoes and bacon with Rub Some Butt Carolina style rub. It has a mustard and vinegar base, so thought it would match up well. Used the same rub on the pork tenders. After the potatoes had been on the Primo for an hour, I put the tenders on as well. Used Apple wood chunks for the smoke.

I skipped the temp probes this time and just went by fork tender. Pulled the potatoes first and dressed them with vinegar, sugar, Dijon, and chives from the garden. Rested the tenders, sliced and then everything on the platter.

The final plate, with a glass of Michigan produced white wine. It made for a nice meal on a warm evening. The taste was light and clean. As always, thanks for looking!

Love the way you cooked the bacon and veggies for the potato salad. My mom made German potato salad in a pressure cooker often when I was growing up, but never with green beans.

Great looking cook Mike.

Ribeye, the cooker settled in at 266 (I didn't chase the temp). The potatoes stayed on for about and hour and forty, and the pork tender was on for just under and hour.

Thanks. My FIL lives in Harbor Beach. You may get a PM from me next time I'm up there, when I need a break from the family time. :becky:
