I spoke with Paul yesterday about my build and emailed him the final build specs this morning.

Its due for pick on 8/8

Paul worked with me on the "new" pick up date . It was initially due for pick up on the 16th.. I had my vavaction dates wrong. Paul said " no worries , i will have it done for you" !!:thumb:

Paul answered all my qstns and was more then helpfull. Nothing but great words for Paul !!!

I will be in Minneapolis, Mn visiting family and from there i will drive down to Al to pick up my new baby !!
From there its back home to sunny Southern California..

I cant wait !!

Ya i thought about adding the 4th grate as well, just because... Im just a backyard BBQ'R so thats space is far them i will ever need.

i believe i was the first one with 4 racks and lots of people thought i was crazy and that it would block airflow. seems to work just fine for me and the 24x55 size allows me to cook a single brisket without feeling like i am wasting too much fuel. if you get a 24x70 with only 3 racks my little shirley will have more capacity than yours.:shock::boxing: unless we are talking whole hogs then you got me.:doh:
