View Full Version : Bacon Wrapped Dogs, a Workplace Favorite

Some months ago, I brought one of my Weber Kettles to work, so we could do some grilling. Bacon wrapped dogs are definitely a coworker favorite, I also do tri-tip for sandwiches, another of their favorites. The owner where I work is very cool, he actually buys all the product, and I spend on clock time cooking for everyone. We are a small company, perhaps a dozen or so employees...so it's perfect.

I have to ask. Do the dogs overcook before the bacon gets right? Yours look Great!

I like to slice them down the middle and stuff them with jalapeno peppers.

How long did they take? I have some chicken wings to cook and would like to see them both done around the same time... Thanks

There are a couple variables, it really depends upon how hot your fire is, and how thick the bacon is. I believe the batch that I did took about an hour, but I doubt you'll be doing as many as I did. Also, I sue the thick cut bacon from Costco.
