Moved almost a year ago, and have been on the hunt for a butcher since then.

Today I mentioned my quest to a guy at work. He immediately gets on the horn and arranges beef ribs for $2.00/lb.

I picked up roughly 18 pounds of beef with plenty of meat on them.

How did I do?

I got 3 racks at roughly 5lb each.

How does $2.00/lb stack up against what everyone else seems to grab?

I've been working to try to get ImageShack to show my images, but no dice so far.

Gonna go throw some beef on the smoker to keep the butt company, and will look for pictures once I figure out why none of my Imageshack stuff is showing.

Best I ever really find is in the 3.50-3.99 range for any with real meat on them. I would be stocking up at 2.00.
