Pork steaks are one of my favorites on the grill. Can't believe this is the first time I've made the this year. Seasoned up with all purpose seasoning and glazed with a blended sauce.

Looks excellent :thumb: What'd you cook it to? I've pulled it at 145 and it was juicy but couldn't get through the fat. Last night I tried to cook it like a butt and pulled it at 170 - ended up pretty dry.

I'm looking for that sweet spot because I like the flavor.

Looks great. Pork steaks are the first meat I can recall cooking on the grill as a young teen. I still love them!

Take it on up some more. I always cook pork til it's dead and mine is always juicy.

Thanks. Yep that was the thought initially but ran out of time. Will take it to probe tender next time.

For me, it's hard to find a good pork steak recipe that I don't get sick of pretty quickly. I've been waiting to try cooking it slow and indirectly, which I'm sure will turn out great, just looking for something to season it with. Although, lemon pepper basically goes great on anything in my book :)

Forgot to mention...these do look good though!!

Looks great!

Reminds me of 40 yrs ago watching my dad flip the pork steaks and douse the in a little bit of his Fallstaff beer. I can still recall the smell.

Pork steaks are a favorite here. My wife turned me on to them 25 years ago, and we only grill them. If my dad had had grilled pork steaks, he never would have let mom buy pork chops.

Another great way to make pork steaks is bread them and pan fry them in a cast iron skillet. Then cover with saw mill gravy. Words do not describe how amazing it is.
