I asked a few days ago whether anyone had done lobster on a Blackstone-style griddle. http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=229566&highlight=lobster
I tried it last night, and went full teppanyaki style:

Everything turned out great, and my wife loved her Mothers Day dinner. We had her parents and sisters and spouses over as well. My kids loved it, and since their favorite place for teppanyaki is called Shogun, we now have a family tradition known as "Daddy Shogun"!
For the lobster tails, since they were pretty big I split them down the center and threw on the hot griddle, shell side down. I squirted them with water and threw the dome over them and let them steam in the shell. I had to move them over to the cooler side of the griddle while I finished the chicken and steak (which more people wanted) so I was worried the lobster was going to get tough. But it was fantastic, and that pink sauce added a nice flavor.
Sorry no pics of the finished / plated food. Family members took the pics while I was cooking but once they started eating the rice, the phones went back into their pockets. It was a hit!
Definitely doing this again! (And the headband was a gag gift from my brother in law)
