View Full Version : Reverse Fatty, Fatty Roulade... You decide
The "I am the creator" TD thread was lonely so I came up with the following.
Trimmed and butterflied a piece of pork loin
http://i.imgur.com/pyaEVT0h.png
Layered hot Italian sausages on the loin
http://i.imgur.com/xBnxxZYh.png
Cubed/cut mozzarella, sharp cheddar, home made bacon and chopped pepper
http://i.imgur.com/FWqH5hDh.png
Put a layer of cheese and chopped peppers on the "fatty" and rest of the ingredients into a cored Anaheim pepper
http://i.imgur.com/ba9q9PLh.png
Rolled and tied

Let it hang out in the fridge until I set up the cooking apparatus :becky:
http://i.imgur.com/1SrUUNoh.png
Cooker was ready so I pulled it out and dusted with SM Pecan :thumb:
http://i.imgur.com/hkby9xhh.png
On the PBC it went with my roti set up
http://i.imgur.com/sXjyFZ0h.png
Let it ride for about 60-70 mins
http://i.imgur.com/DeOC8RAh.png
In the meantime I fried some sweet tater fries and seasoned with Cajun seasoning

It was ready to come off

Killer color

Then I figured why not take to the next level and made a quick beer batter
http://i.imgur.com/Ot9I4x5h.png
Quick dip
http://i.imgur.com/uJHNJfuh.png
Quick fry of the batter for a crisp factor
http://i.imgur.com/y4FbO0Dh.png
Cut and plated

HOT DAMN!!!! This was some good sh*&!!!!!

So funny, I was just thinking about this TD today, and meat stuffed meat stuffed meat is what came to mind (great minds) But then I got lazy and opted for fried chicken at Chicagokp's instead. (Which was awesome)
That looks killer, brother! I loved the part where I thought you were done, then ya deep fried that Beeyotch. Awesome!

The cored anaheim for structural support is genius. I may have to try that in a "standard" stuffed fatty.
That's an awesome looking cook. Makes me want to give it a try here, and I can pretty much never be bothered to fry anything.
