So I came down with this rotten stomach virus over the weekend...needless to say I was tore up from the floor up! I looked up the best foods to eat post recovery and found potatoes, chicken, and white rice as some choices....better than crackers and bullion I was living on!

I'm sure the quarters weren't the best choice but there's no additional oil and it was grilled but the bulk of the meal was breast and white rice. Even the rice I didn't add any additional oils when i fried it up.

Let's get that cooker fired up.. Ok oak, hickory and a little maple splits for the fuel of choice! Light SPG on the bird parts and potatoes hung. If you want me to say the chicken was bland too I just can't that. :biggrin1:

Get better soon. Food looks good... Thanks Terry, judging from the last trip to the throne room it's safe to say there's lots of white rice in my future. :tsk:

...But I needed substance! lol

You're gonna die!
Then life will continue on.
This too will pass.

Use that chicken carcass for making some stock. Absolute best thing for your gut to heal.

You can then boil rice in it or use it to mash taters :thumb:

I usually fast for 24 hours, then start again with oatmeal, raisins, and cottage cheese.
Metamucil can refill your colon, if needed.

Hang in there, Keith!

Hope this bug will move on through so you can get back at it!

Sorry to hear about the premature start on the "complex" grub, but it sure looks tasty from here!
