So, I usually light my RO lump with RO briqs and I use RO briqs for grilling. I went to Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart today and NO Royal Oak briqs. Plenty of lump, which I already have, but no briqs.

Does anyone know what is going on with the 3 largest retailers not carrying RO briqs?

TIA, Joe

Do you have a Menards in the area? They carry RO briqs.

it must be late shipments because my Wally World does not have my Stubbs or Royal Oak .

I'm hoping it's a spring rush thing. I couldn't find Stubbs at any Wally World the other day. I panicked and drove 45 minutes to the nearest Lowe's and bought 6 bags.

The Walmart brand briquettes (forgot the name) are made by Royal Oak.

RO makes lots of coals for lots of companies. Look for the "ridges".

So I've been informed by other Bretheren.

Thanks, Jonathan. I'll look them over. I finally got a bag of Stubbs at Lowe's. There's no Menards here, but a Restaurant Depot is under construction and I can't wait.

Academy brand outdoor gourmet charcoal is royal oak in another bag. Really good stuff and on sale for $ 4 a bag at times
