Hi guys! I made this for the wife to celebrate her birthday! She loves anything Italian and Chicken Parmesean is her favorite meal. This my version of authentic Chicken Parmesean! A seasoned and fried chicken breast covered with mozzarella cheese, with an amazing marinara sauce and a side of spaghetti and sautéed asparagus. Here are a few photos! Be blessed! :-)

That looks great. How did you season the chicken? Did you pan fry it. Crust looks amazing.

I've never quite perfected a marinara sauce. Any tips?

Yes sir! I did fry them! I seasoned it with Italian seasoning, basil, oregano, black pepper and a little creole seasoning overnight! Then I dropped them in an seasoned egg wash and in to the panko bread crumbs and pan fried them in olive oil! A crust like you would not believe! Even with the marinara, the crunch was still present on the chicken! :-)

Looks fantastic man! I'm in the same boat of all the million things I cook, chicken parm is what my wife loves most.

It's usually her birthday dinner, our anniversary dinner, etc.

Last year my electric stove shorted out and I ended up making chicken parm with the pasta and everything on the Camp Chef stove outside. That was fun.

Looks spot on. Probably my favorite italian dish. My mom used to feed my entire soccer team in high school with chicken parm the day before games a couple times a season. I also use panko. Love that stuff!

I enjoy Chicken Parm, and as mentioned above definitely make it for my wife several times a year, but it is about as Italian as General Tso's Chicken is Chinese.

I, for one, find it so funny how terribly misinformed we Americans are about the cuisines of other cultures. I guess it's because we have so many people from so many backgrounds here, and they all adapted their culture to what was available here in America...now that those original immigrants are so far removed from their original homeland we Americans only associated the American cuisine with those other countries.

Just fascinating to me. And not gonna stop me from enjoying some General Tso's or Chicken Parm, which are both very much AMERICAN dishes.
