Few pics of some of my breakfast escapades.

The first set is a take on beer can burgers I made with ground pork roll, wrapped in bacon, and filled with egg.

The second is... while I had the meat grinder out grinding up pork roll, I took the ground pork roll, diced potatoes, and cheddar cheese and made meatballs out of them.

Your neighbors must be hating you waking up to that as they eat dry toast and drink bad coffee... Oh well such is life. Looks great...

Thanks guys. The burgers are pretty easy, but I think I might still tweak the recipe. Maybe add an egg to the ground meat to make it stickier, so it holds the burger shape better. It worked, but they were delicate. All I did was run some pork roll, a famous NJ delicacy but I have no doubt you can expiriment with other meats, so anyway thru a meat grinder, make some burgers out of the ground meat, press a beer can into the burger to form an impression, wrapped it with bacon while it's there to help hold it all together, then ever so gently transfer them to the grill. Once it starts to set up and brown a little you can add the egg. Egg "congeals" at about 165 degrees, so a little less if you like the yolk a little runny.

Looks great. I LOVE pork roll. A fellow Brethren ( gtr ) found a place out here in SoCal that sells Taylor Pork Roll. That looks like a great idea - something to try.

I do my Sausage, Egg, and Cheese, Blueberry Mc Biscuit Meal on my Davy Crockett Pellet cooker on a cast iron griddle.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/OldDave/Pellet%20Cookers/DSC02457.jpg

I start with baking the Blueberry Biscuits and then I place the griddle on the cooker and do the balance of the meal.

Browning my baked biscuits.

Cooking the sausage patties and the hash browns (used an egg ring).

The eggs and cheese also done in egg rings.

The parts for my sandwiches include the toasted biscuits, sausage patties, eggs with cheese, and the hash browns.
