I am going to smoke a pork butt this weekend and my local grocery store had corned beef points on sale for $3. Bought one to throw on with my pork butt. Any tips or advice on how to get this done? I haven't done brisket before. Will the corned point cook different than a normal point? Will I just cook it until it is probe tender? Thanks in advance!

Ive done them a few times on the smoker. my suggestion is you soak it in water and change the water a couple times. Man are they loaded with salt.

Id just coat with pepper and toss it in the smoker till she gets tender. I bet it would cook just as long as your butt. Rules of tenderness all apply

I've also put mustard and rub on them along with the water bath to reduce the salt.
