123380Well I got the uds done. Just slapped on a few rack of ribs to try it out. I
Probably should have played with it longer to figure out the right temp setting but I have no patience. I hope it turns out ok. I've got one 3/4 inch inlet open and the ball valve about 3/4 open. Temps hanging in around 220. Outside it's a balmy 42. Not bad for Alaska

Man that drum may be ugly, but it sure cooks ribs fast. Hit 195 in 3 hours. They sure look good. Too bad dinner isn't for an hour. Thought I would try my hand at some turds. Never cooked them before. How long do you let them go for?

Turds go until bacon is crisp. Takes awhile.

Looks good, now you have to keep your drum busy.

I never go by temp on my ribs to tell if their done. I do the bend test. Works every time.
